Vietnam will return to nuclear energy of Russian design. An important result of negotiations between Russia and its Asian partner was recorded by Alexey Likhachev, Director General of the Rosatom State Corporation.

According to him, another equally important point of the agreements is the construction of a new research center in Vietnam.
We have recorded the start of construction of a new research center, a center for nuclear science in Vietnam… This is a new quality. A new step in the relationship, so the fact that we have entered the site in Donganh province for construction… This is important.
The head of Rosatom recalled that Russia and Vietnam have been cooperating since the 80s of the last century. During this time, the countries have trained hundreds of specialists in the field of energy, conducted many joint studies in international institutions, in particular, in the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research.
