New shipbuilding production facility worth a billion rubles to be built in Russia

The plant will be built in Omsk

The "Omsk River Port" company intends to build a new plant in Omsk for the production of "river-sea" class vessels, which are necessary to increase cargo turnover along the Irtysh River. Investments in the project will amount to 1.1 billion rubles, according to the Governor of the Omsk Region, Vitaly Khotsenko.

According to him, the investor plans to produce barge platforms in Omsk for the transportation of building materials and other cargo.

The new production will not only create additional jobs, but also increase cargo turnover through the Omsk region to the regions of the Far North, as well as to China and Kazakhstan.
