During the visit of the President of Cuba to the Moscow automobile plant "Moskvich", cars from the batch intended for taxi service in Havana were presented.
In total, as previously reported, 50 taxis based on the "Moskvich 3" models will be delivered to Cuba - 25 gasoline and electric versions (Moskvich 3e). These deliveries are carried out within the framework of agreements between Moscow and Havana.
The President of Cuba was solemnly presented with a certificate for 10 "Moskvich 6" cars. The maintenance of the delivered cars will be carried out by a Russian-Cuban joint venture. A training program for Cuban specialists at the "Moskvich" plant is also provided, which will ensure qualified technical support for the fleet and deepen industrial cooperation between the countries.
