AvtoVAZ cars are already being sold in the UAE. The Lada Niva Travel SUV and the classic three-door Niva are sold from 65 thousand dirhams (approximately 1.5 million rubles) for each model. The Lada Vesta sedan costs more — from 83 thousand dirhams (about 1.9 million rubles).
The import of cars to the Middle East was organized by AvtoVAZ's partner privately. The cars have not yet been certified according to local standards. As for warranty service — the issue is under development.
Sales of Lada cars began in Dubai in early May. AvtoVAZ is currently focusing on the implementation of the Niva family, although Iskra and the sports version of Niva Sport are represented in showrooms. However, these models are not yet sold.
