According to its characteristics, this invention is the only one in the country. This was reported in the press service of the Novosibirsk State Technical University.
The combined current and voltage sensor is a device that is integrated into a power transmission line and transmits data via a fiber optic channel. It operates in digital format, which ensures high accuracy and reliability.
The compact device easily fits in one hand and replaces massive and heavy measuring systems.
The sensor allows replacing bulky complexes with electromagnetic classical current and voltage transformers, the weight and size of which exceeds 400 kg. Such complexes require special supports for their installation, they are difficult to lift and install.
Domestic development - compact digital transformers that are easy to lift with one hand, can be installed even without disconnecting the high-voltage cable.
