Не убийца профессий, а катализатор их эволюции: спрос на тренеров ИИ в России вырос втрое

In the coming years, companies will not only hire trainers, but also create their own teams of specialists in "raising" neural networks

Demand for AI trainers has grown in Russia. Two years ago, there was no such field in the market, but over the past year, the number of vacancies with the keywords "AI trainer" or "AI training" has almost tripled.

This specialty is no longer a classic IT profession, but a synthesis of programming, linguistics, and even psychology, experts note. According to their forecasts, in the coming years, companies will not only hire trainers, but also create their own teams of specialists for "raising" neural networks.

The rapid development of generative AI and the need to adapt it to specific business tasks have created a high demand for specialists who help people interact with artificial intelligence. This was stated by Zurab Bely, head of Java development at Reksoft. In Russia, such vacancies most often appear in startups and large players such as MTS and Yandex.

The main responsibilities of AI trainers include analyzing complex topics, verifying facts, evaluating and editing texts, and working with sources. Therefore, the profession of AI trainer and the development of AI in general can partially or completely replace some traditional specialties — for example, copywriters, content managers, junior lawyers, and first-level technical support specialists.

In his opinion, artificial intelligence is not a "profession killer", but rather a tool that helps them develop. It automates routine tasks, freeing up time for more creative work. Instead of 10 copywriters, one artificial intelligence training specialist can work, and instead of manual resume sorting, an artificial intelligence training specialist in recruiting can work.

In Russia, demand for such specialists began to grow in 2023, when Western artificial intelligence models were adapted by local companies.

If you look at websites, such as hh.ru, the number of vacancies with the keywords "AI trainer" or "AI training" has approximately tripled in 2024. I think that by 2026–2027, the market may grow by another two to three times.

In his opinion, it can be expected that in the first half of 2025, the need for specialists in working with artificial intelligence will be four to six times greater than in the same period last year. In early 2025, the trend continued or even intensified compared to 2024.

An artificial intelligence specialist must be competent in both technical matters and the subject area for which artificial intelligence is being developed, emphasized Sergey Golitsyn, head of artificial intelligence at IT holding T1.

According to him, it is important to have basic knowledge in the field of machine learning and be able to work with data.

Today, prompt engineering is especially in demand — the ability to correctly formulate requests for language models in order to obtain accurate and relevant answers.

At the same time, Golitsyn clarified that an AI trainer should have not only technical skills, but also deep knowledge in the area where AI is applied. This allows not only to correctly use data, but also to correctly set tasks so that the model learns with maximum efficiency.

According to experts, by 2025, 45% of employees of Russian companies will already be using artificial intelligence. More than half of the managers intend to implement AI in the near future.
