A new fire and rescue boat of the "KS-110.2-39" project was launched at the Kostroma Shipbuilding Plant. The vessel is intended for the needs of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
Boats of this project were first built in the amount of two units and handed over to customers in December 2024. KS-110.2-39 is developed on a modular principle. It is equipped with all the necessary equipment for conducting rescue operations and extinguishing fires on the water surface.
The vessel can be used in emergency situations and preventive work related to oil production. KS-110.2-39 is able to quickly deliver the necessary equipment to the scene, including fire extinguishing agents and specialists.
Thanks to its shallow draft and high maneuverability, the boat effectively copes with tasks both afloat and in the coastal zone. It can quickly approach the shore and start extinguishing a fire in hard-to-reach places, such as islands and forest villages.
