The Kurganpribor enterprise has taken over the management of the Novosibirsk Instrument Plant Sibselmash. This was announced by Senator Sergei Muratov.
The flag of Kurganpribor has been raised over another enterprise that is part of our group of companies - this is Novosibirsk's Sibselmash, once the largest plant in Siberia. And today, after 25 years, Kurganpribor itself, which employs 9,000 people, is bringing other enterprises out of bankruptcy.
The Sibselmash plant was established in Novosibirsk in 1929. In 2012, Sibselmash went bankrupt, and bankruptcy proceedings began. In October 2017, the enterprise's property complex was put up for auction. In November 2019, the property was offered as a single lot for 1.8 billion rubles, but no buyers were found.
In November 2020, the complex was sold at auction for 505 million rubles to the Moscow construction company Merkas LLC. In 2023, at the request of NPO Kurganpribor JSC and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the results of the auction were challenged in court.
Kurganpribor is an enterprise that produces a wide range of products for the defense complex. For a long time, it has specialized in the production of sleeve and instrument products for defense and civilian purposes.
One of the most famous developments is the latest R-74 short-range missile. A photo appeared on the Web showing the inside of the compartment of the Russian fifth-generation Su-57 fighter for short-range missiles.
Kurganpribor also produces detonators for tank rounds, ground and naval artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, and anti-aircraft missile systems. It manufactures detonators and mechanisms for missiles installed in the BM-30 Smerch MLRS.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russian strike unmanned boats will be armed with Skvorets-VMF kamikaze drones.
