Large agricultural holding to appear in Kherson Oblast in 2026

Construction of an oil extraction plant is planned for deeper processing of grain crops

A large agricultural holding is planned to be launched in the Kherson Oblast from the beginning of 2026, based on at least 50 thousand hectares of land intended for growing grain and oil crops.

The project is being implemented in partnership with "AFT-Capital", which operates in more than 20 regions of Russia and is engaged in the supply and partial production of agricultural machinery.

In the future, the project envisages the construction of an oil extraction plant, which will allow organizing deep processing of agricultural products, creating new jobs and increasing the economic and international status of the region. A project roadmap is currently being developed, as well as the reorganization of the "Kherson Grain Company" into a joint-stock company.

Registration of legal entities and the initial phase of implementation are expected by the end of 2025. The construction of logistics and processing facilities, as well as elevators, will take about two years. In parallel, it is planned to launch a seed plant and develop a dealer network to support farmers. The project was also supported by the regional authorities.
