Russian fourth-generation Su-34NVO and Su-35S fighters have begun to actively use the new 300-mm universal interspecific gliding ammunition D-30SN. This was reported by military expert Evgeny Damantsev with reference to objective control footage.
According to him, in the basic configuration, the range of the projectile is 120 km when dropped from aircraft suspension units at an echelon of 10000+ m at a speed of 900-1000 km/h. The minimum circular probable deviation of the projectile is no more than 1-3 m.
At the same time, when placing the D-30SN on a booster solid-propellant rocket engine, the range can reach 200-220 km, of which 20-40 km is the active part with an ascending branch, and about 180 km is the planning segment.
The interspecific nature of the D-30SN lies in the possibility of launching it both from aircraft and from combat vehicles of the Smerch and Tornado-S multiple launch rocket systems.
Earlier www1.ru reported that UAV units appeared in the Dnieper Flotilla.
