Затишье кончилось: количество и мощность вспышек на Солнце пугающе растет

Over the past 36 hours, 15 flares have been recorded, three of them of the penultimate power class

A flare of the penultimate power class M2.0 was recorded in area 4079 on the Sun on April 30. It began at 10:41 Moscow time, peaked at 10:51 and ended at 10.56. This was reported by the Solar Activity Laboratory of IKM and ISZF.

During April 29, 14 medium-class C flares and three powerful class M flares (M1.3, M1.6 and M1.7) were recorded on the Sun. This indicates a significant increase in solar activity after several days of calm.

An increase in the number of flares can affect space weather and cause various phenomena, such as geomagnetic storms on Earth. Astronomers continue to monitor solar activity to assess the possible consequences for our planet.

Earlier www1.ru reported that three flares of the penultimate power class occurred on the Sun in a day.
