Ожидаются бури: три вспышки предпоследнего класса мощности произошли на Солнце за день

Flares on the Sun may lead to magnetic storms on Earth in the coming days

Three class M flares, the second most powerful, occurred on the Sun. This was reported on April 29 by the Institute of Applied Geophysics.

According to the agency, the first flare occurred around 8:00 AM Moscow time. Two more were recorded during the day: at 13:02 and 13:57 in the X-ray range in active region number 4078. The first of these, class M1.3, lasted 33 minutes, the second, M1.7, lasted 25 minutes.

Class M refers to moderately powerful flares capable of causing magnetic storms and radio interference on Earth.
