Russian engineers have developed the PT-03 "Ptitselov" drone detector, which will be able to detect fiber optic drones. The product will be shown at the international military-technical forum "Army-2025", said Alexander Kamin, General Director of Eltech-YUG.
There is currently a prototype of PT-03. The first stage of development will be completed within a few months.
The new "Ptitselov" will be able to detect fiber optic drones, which are a big problem now, because electronic warfare equipment does not see devices of this type.
PT-03 will be a universal equipment with a wide range of functions. According to Kamin, the detector will be able to exchange data, as well as display the image on the screen.
Currently, Russian military personnel are using the PT-01 drone detector. The second version - PT-02 was presented at the Securika Moscow 2025 exhibition.
