The "Ptitselov" drone detector, developed by volunteers, has been adopted by the Ministry of Defense. The whole process took less than six months, which indicates a serious acceleration of processes in this area.
"Ptitselov" will help soldiers detect drones at a distance of up to 1.5 km. It can identify the type of drone and the frequency of its video transmitter, which will facilitate the work of electronic warfare (EW) units.
The first tests at military training grounds started in the spring of 2024, and in the summer, the developers opened production and received an offer to supply the first batch of detectors for the needs of the army. The approval and signing of the relevant documents took two months.
Earlier www1.ru wrote that BELAZ-75304 with Russian engines with a capacity of 2400 hp have been put into mass production.
