Sales of Lada Granta in Russia have fallen significantly: in the first quarter of 2025, the average monthly sales volume was 10.5 thousand cars, while in the second half of 2024 it exceeded 17.5 thousand.
Regional dealers have already accumulated stocks for three months ahead, but AVTOVAZ continues to ship, ignoring the decrease in demand.
The main reason for the decline, dealers say, is the abolition of the possibility to combine factory discounts with benefits under the state program, which previously made Granta particularly affordable. This option was recently returned for Vesta - and sales went much more actively. An additional burden on the market is created by resellers who receive cars with fake certificates of participants in the special military operation and then sell them cheaper than official dealers.
