The time to return combat vehicles to service has been reduced by approximately five times, noted the deputy battalion commander for armaments, Major Azamat Davletbaev.

According to him, previously, self-propelled guns arriving for repair with damage, as well as with wear of the barrel bore, were sent for further repair to industrial enterprises. By June 2024, the military manufactured technological equipment, including a universal stand for the turrets of the 2S19, 2S3, 2S1 SPGs. Previously, taking into account logistics, the process of replacing a gun barrel took about 50 days.

Today, the product returns to the line of combat contact within ten days.
