The first Russian front loader with an articulated frame and a lifting capacity of up to 1.2 tons has successfully passed testing. The development belongs to the company "Apriornye resheniya mashin" (ARM). Serial production of the loader will be established at the "Cheboksary Power Aggregate Plant" (ChZSA). Previously, similar equipment was imported from the USA and Europe.
Russian front loaders of this class did not exist until now; we are pioneers in this segment. Previously, only skid-steer loaders were produced in Russia, which have two significant disadvantages: low transport speed and damage to the surface on which such machines turn.
The design of the loader with a low center of gravity and compact dimensions ensures high stability and maneuverability, which allows it to work effectively in confined spaces. Models with a lifting capacity of 1.2 tons have traditionally been used in public utilities and landscaping, but until now, the Russian market has been dominated by equipment from Western manufacturers.
The main advantages of the new machine are high transport speed – up to 40 km\/h and high bucket unloading (the unloading height is 3.6 m), which allows the machine, for example, to load snow into the body of a "KamAZ". At the same time, the loader is unified with other machines from the "Silant" line in terms of key components – drive axles and hydrostatic transmission.
The loader is equipped with a hydrostatic transmission with an electronic control system. High transport speed is achieved thanks to a unique two-stage gearbox.
It is expected that the new machine will compete with well-known foreign brands Wacker Neuson and Kramer, and will help reduce the dependence of the Russian market on foreign equipment.
