The national project for the development of the space industry is in the final stage of preparation. This was announced by the head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Bakanov.
The document provides for a large-scale modernization of the domestic space infrastructure. In particular, it is planned to improve existing rocket and space systems and create a new Russian space station, which will replace the ISS after the end of its operation.
The national project also includes the expansion of the orbital constellation and a comprehensive modernization of existing cosmodromes. Special attention will be paid to the development of partnerships with the private sector in the space industry.
