Roscosmos' production capacity allows it to produce up to 30 carrier rockets per year. This was reported by the press service of the state corporation.
Roscosmos noted that 115 enterprises in 20 regions of Russia operate within the corporation's perimeter. The number of people employed in the industry is more than 165 thousand.
Russian carrier rockets are the most reliable in the world. A series of accident-free launches has been continuing since 2018. To date, there have been 139 consecutive accident-free rocket launches.
Roscosmos rockets are launched from three cosmodromes — Vostochny, Baikonur, and Plesetsk. Spacecraft and satellites are put into orbit by rockets of the Soyuz, Angara, and Proton-M families.
A more powerful modification of the Angara, the Angara – A5M rocket, is also being prepared for testing, with the first launch planned from the Vostochny cosmodrome in 2027-2028.
