The Izhevsk company "Tekhkrim" has launched mass production of 7.62x54R "Tandem" cartridges. The ammunition is designed for any small arms of the corresponding caliber, the main feature is two bullets inside the cartridge case.
The two-bullet cartridge allows you to double the density of fire due to the greater number of damaging elements at a distance of up to 250 m when firing at lateral targets and up to 350 m when firing at overtaking or oncoming targets.
The upper bullet weighs 8 grams, the second - 7 grams. The average weight of the cartridge is from 26 to 28 grams, the average initial speed is at least 650 m/s.
The bullets have a bimetallic jacket and a steel unhardened core. The sleeve is copper-plated.
