A draft strategy for the development of the Navy until 2050 has been prepared and will be presented to Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to Nikolai Patrushev, aide to the head of state.
According to him, the updated document outlines all the positions that need to be implemented.
The strategy was prepared by the Ministry of Defense. Subsequently, it was considered by the Council for Strategic Development of the Navy. We will report to the President on April 11, and see how he reacts to it.
Patrushev clarified that the Strategy is currently in a draft version, which will be finalized if the President has any comments.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that 8.4 trillion rubles will be allocated for the development of the Navy until 2035 .
