A draft strategy for the development of the Navy until 2050 has been prepared and will be presented to Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to Nikolai Patrushev, aide to the head of state.
According to him, the updated document spells out all the positions that need to be implemented.
The strategy was prepared by the Ministry of Defense. Subsequently, it was considered at the Council for Strategic Development of the Navy. We will report to the President on April 11, and see how he reacts to it.
Patrushev clarified that the Strategy is still in a trial version, which will be finalized in case of comments from the president.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that 8.4 trillion rubles will be allocated for the development of the Navy until 2035 will be allocated.
