The "Sollers" Group will invest more than 16 billion rubles in the modernization of the UAZ site between 2023 and 2026. This was announced by the group's CEO, Nikolai Sobolev.
According to him, all current and upcoming activities to modernize the site and update technological processes will significantly improve the quality of the UAZ vehicle lineup.
We plan to carry out a deep modernization of the painting complex of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant this year, primarily the cataphoretic line.
The group also plans to launch a new press line, where bodies for Sollers pickups and SUVs, as well as for the new UAZ model range, will be stamped.
Earlier, UAZ showed the production process of the new cylinder head on video for the first time.
