Sber has replaced foreign account management programs IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM) and IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM) with domestic ones — Platform V IDM and Platform V IAM SE from SberTech, a software developer. The new technologies are designed to ensure all stages of the account lifecycle. They will also help in supporting user management and their access rights.
The transition to new solutions in such a large company as Sber required careful planning and coordination of actions between hundreds of departments. In the process, we replaced many legacy solutions, ensuring the continuity of work of all services, and supported new, increased cybersecurity requirements, legislation and bank processes. More than 900 bank systems are integrated with IAM, more than 400 with IDM. 15 million managed accounts have been created.
It is now possible to log into the bank's system using multi-factor and passwordless authentication or through single sign-on if you need to log into different bank systems. You can also use biometric data when logging in via the Platform V platform. The degree of protection varies for each risk level.
Account management is now centralized — the innovation has accelerated HR processes. The programs do not create load on departments and allow hundreds of specialists to work without interruption.
