Russian heavy flamethrower systems (TOS) provide the military with a qualitative advantage on the battlefield. This was stated by Bekhan Ozdoev, Industrial Director of the Rostec Armaments Cluster.
According to him, TOS produced by the state corporation is a unique weapon that provides a qualitative advantage on the battlefield.
There are examples when the use of these systems allowed our soldiers to occupy enemy positions without a single shot.
The military uses TOS-2 "Tosochka", TOS-1 "Buratino" and TOS-1A "Solntsepek". The nickname "Buratino" is associated with the characteristic shape of the warhead of the system's rocket - the fuse of the ammunition protrudes from the body like the nose of a fairy-tale character.
