Российский спутник «Бион-М2» выяснит истинное происхождение жизни на Земле

The device will be launched into a polar orbit at an altitude of about 400 km

In July 2025, the launch of the space vehicle "Bion-M2" with animals on board will take place. The satellite will be launched into a polar orbit for 30 days, during the mission scientists will implement 22 scientific programs.

The device will be launched to an altitude of about 400 km into a polar orbit passing over the Earth's poles. Approximately along this trajectory, the Russian Orbital Station will fly in the future.

With the help of "Bion-M2", scientists will study what dangers await astronauts in these areas of space and how to prevent negative impacts.

The research will help determine at what depth to build stations on the Moon to protect people from the flow of secondary neurons and galactic particles. A separate experiment will be devoted to the possibility of replacing nutrition with liquid drinking with a gel composition during long space travels.

Also, scientists will place live bacterial cultures on a special basalt plate on the outside of the spacecraft. This device will simulate a meteorite. The experiment will help researchers refute or confirm the theory of the origin of life on Earth from space.
