Sales of the modernized Lada Niva Sport with a reinforced transmission started on April 5. On this day, 48 years ago, the first production Niva was released.
One car has already been bought in Tolyatti. Its owner is the mayor of the city, Ilya Sukhikh.
In December 2024, I parted ways with my Niva Travel. I drove it for three and a half years. And you know why? Because I was preparing to buy a Niva Sport.
The new product has already been shown in the photo.
Under the hood of the Lada Niva Sport is a 1.6-liter engine with 122 hp from the Lada Granta Sport, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The transfer case is now controlled by one lever.
The car is currently produced in one configuration. It includes air conditioning, heated front seats, electric windows and 17-inch alloy wheels.
The cost of the car is 1.7 million rubles.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Lada Niva Sport in the Silk Way special version with a 1.8 engine is not going to be released for sale.
