Forecasts come true: Another powerful flare occurred on the Sun

The class M flare lasted 27 minutes

A powerful class M flare occurred on the Sun tonight. This was reported by the press service of the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the IKI and ISZF.

Activity began at 22:46 and ended at 23:12. Several less intense class C flares were also recorded on the Sun during yesterday and the first hours of today.

According to astronomers, a series of class magnetic storms are predicted on Earth from April 5 to April 10, 2025. The reason for their occurrence will be increased solar wind activity.
