Military Combined "Utes" Machine Gun, RPG-7, and KPVT into a Single Unit: Its Purpose Revealed

The tracked platform with weaponry is controlled by two operators

Russian military personnel have showcased remotely controlled platforms that are developed and used for fire support of assault groups, as well as for delivering food, water, ammunition, and communication equipment to the line of combat contact.

Tracked platforms with various weapons - a 12.7-mm large-caliber "Utes" machine gun, an RPG-7 with 10 rounds, and a 14.5-mm large-caliber KPVT machine gun. The complex's task is to ensure the passage of assault groups, evacuate the wounded, and deliver supplies.

The platform is controlled by two pilots: a UAV operator who observes the area around the platform, and an operator who controls the system and engages targets.

Currently, the newest ground robotic systems (GRS) are being tested in real combat conditions and are proving to be effective among soldiers.
