Производство редукторов для промышленных роботов грузоподъемностью до 120 кг запустили в России

Serial production of products will begin before the end of April 2025

The robot factory in Chelyabinsk will begin mass production of domestic gearboxes in April 2025 — one of the main parts used in the production of robots. This is stated in a statement by the Russian government.

The founder of the robot factory and General Director of the Chelyabinsk Forge-and-Press Plant (CHKPZ), Andrey Gartung, demonstrated to First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov the capabilities of the center, including six-axis RusRobot industrial robot manipulators with a lifting capacity of up to 120 kg and up to 60 kg, as well as Russian gearboxes for robot manipulators of its own design.

The machines were created using state support measures. The Chelyabinsk region is also working on the construction of the first so-called dark shops in Russia, which do not require human participation for their work, using Russian robots, domestic unmanned transport and advanced Russian IT solutions.

The robot factory was created on the basis of CHKPZ. The development of such production is designed to reduce the dependence of domestic industry on imports and the negative effect of sanctions.
