The domestic enterprise NPO "Digital Television Systems" (part of GS Group) has completed the assembly of the first batch of medium server boards for the electronics brand Fplus. This was reported by the GS Group press service.
The plant's production capacity allows it to produce up to 9,000 such boards per month. The dimensions of the new devices are 480x430 mm. They are significantly larger than standard PC motherboards, which range in size from 180x180 mm to 250x250 mm.
Medium server boards are products of increased complexity, both in size and assembly complexity - each product has more than 5,000 components. Accordingly, the assembly complexity is significantly higher compared to, for example, motherboards.
To launch the production of boards, the production line at the enterprise was modernized. This allowed all the necessary elements to be installed in one technological cycle.
The company also developed and implemented soldering frames in production to avoid warping of the printed circuit board surface during heating. The complete assembly cycle takes no more than 3 days. This rule helps to eliminate oxidation of contact pads and soldering defects.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Geoscan increased the production volume of printed circuit boards.
