Development of a football simulator announced in the Russian Football Union

The Russian Football Union (RFU) announced that Russian game developers plan to create a domestic football simulator, similar to the popular game FIFA, by 2030. Work on the project is ongoing.

At the opening of the Games of the Future in February 2024, former Russian national team football player Andrei Arshavin appealed to President Vladimir Putin with a request for support in creating an analogue of FIFA. Later, the head of the All-Russian Federation of Digital Sports (combining physical and digital sports), Nikita Nagorny, said that the project is in development and is receiving support from Gazprom.
