On the night of March 25, residents of Europe and Russia witnessed an unusual celestial phenomenon - a mysterious glowing spiral. It was noticed in various cities in Germany, Poland, Hungary, France, as well as in Kaliningrad, Rostov, and Krasnodar. The spiral gradually moved from west to east.
In the Kuban, local residents on social networks note that the spiral was clearly visible in open areas, away from bright lights and dense buildings. Experts assure that this phenomenon is not related to the birth of a new galaxy, but is merely a consequence of frozen rocket fuel dumped into the atmosphere.
The United States launched the NROL-69 reconnaissance satellite into orbit on March 24 of this year. The main reason for the formation of the glowing spiral is precisely the discharge of excess fuel during the launch of this satellite.
Similar phenomena rarely occur, but they cannot be called unique. Last year, a similar spiral was observed in the sky over the Arctic, also after the launch of a Falcon rocket. In this case, the second stage of the rocket burned up in the atmosphere and released frozen fuel. Under certain conditions, it reflects sunlight, creating a visible spiral for the inhabitants of the Earth.
