Payment problems for Russian tourists have already been resolved

Russian "Mir" bank cards will soon start working in Turkey. The country's government intends to resolve this issue as soon as possible. This was stated by the country's ambassador to the Russian Federation, Tanju Bilgic.

According to the Turkish ambassador, payment problems have already been resolved for Russian tourists. Previously, Sberbank, VTB and MTS launched the possibility of making purchases using QR codes via a mobile application in Turkey.

Rubles are converted into lira without commission. Payment is accepted in all retail outlets in the country where this method is supported.
