From April 1, a new service will start operating on "Gosuslugi", allowing Russians to check all SIM cards registered in their name.
The technical readiness of the service has already been ensured, but minor failures are possible in the first days. The new tool will help citizens find out if SIM cards are registered in their name that may be used by fraudsters.
According to current legislation, Russian citizens can register no more than 20 SIM cards for themselves.
