A factory defect was discovered on Lada Vesta cars at the AvtoVAZ plant, and the cars are temporarily being "stored" until it is fixed.
On some Lada Vesta sedan cars, the water drain moldings are poorly glued. These defects are detected on the old production track, where cars that are fully ready for shipment are rechecked before being sent.
If such a problem is discovered, specialists quickly fix it and send the car for sale. According to insiders, there is no need to worry - the defect is not critical, and the situation should be resolved quickly.
Production of Lada Vesta has been reduced to approximately 20 cars per hour, which has made it possible to monitor the quality of products more closely.
