Engineers from the Military Academy of Logistics named after General of the Army A. V. Khrulev have developed a bread truck on a floating chassis with a thermally insulated body for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to supply troops by water.
The van is capable of moving both on rough terrain and on public roads, and can also overcome natural water obstacles.
The vehicle was designed on the basis of the GAZ-46 amphibious vehicle. The chassis includes the chassis, transmission, power plant and propeller for movement on water.
The thermally insulated body is sheathed with thin-sheet galvanized steel, equipped with rubber seals and rear doors with handles. Inside the body there are guides for trays, providing transportation and safe storage of products. The crew consists of one person.
If it is necessary to cross a lake or a full-flowing river, the driver only needs to drive into the water and switch the torque from the power plant to the propeller using a transfer case.
Earlier www1.ru reported that specialists turned a kamikaze drone into a rocket, accelerating it to 280 km/h.
