Caviar, a company known for its exclusive customized gadgets, has announced its new Horizon collection. The flagship model is dedicated to Moscow: the iPhone 16 Pro/Pro Max smartphone case is decorated with a miniature panorama of the capital using rare earth metals — indium and yttrium. The Spasskaya Tower and St. Basil's Cathedral are made of colored enamel and 999 gold, and, if desired, a mechanical watch with manual winding can be built into the tower, similar to Big Ben in the "London" version.
Of particular interest are the rare earth metals used for the inlay. Yttrium-aluminum garnets are used in metallurgy, nuclear energy, electronics, and optics. And indium is used in the production of computer screens, astronomical mirrors, and automotive headlight mirrors.
The collection includes models inspired by London, Dubai, and Shanghai. For example, the iPhone with Big Ben is equipped with working clock, and the Huawei Mate X6 for Shanghai has a folding screen with engraved skyscrapers. Prices start from 559,000 rubles.
