The "Progress MS-31" cargo spacecraft has been successfully delivered to the Baikonur Cosmodrome. The spacecraft is being prepared for launch to the International Space Station, according to the Roscosmos press service.
After its arrival, specialists inspected the ship, assessed its condition, and temporarily mothballed it. Such procedures are necessary to maintain its perfect condition until preparations for launch begin.
The launch of the Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket with "Progress MS-31" is scheduled for the summer of 2025. The flight will be an important event, as the ship will provide the ISS with equipment and materials for the astronauts' work.
Preparation for the launch includes many stages, and Roscosmos specialists have already started working on this project.
