You can also see the elements of the 4S24 dynamic protection "Relikt", which provide cover for the side armor plates from the fire impact of 25-mm armor-piercing discarding sabot projectiles M791 and M919, as well as from high-speed heavy fragments.
Arena-M is designed to protect against anti-tank grenades and anti-tank guided missiles. The complex includes a radar station with high noise immunity, and uses narrowly focused protective ammunition with high speed and placed around the perimeter of the tank turret in special installation shafts for targeted destruction of projectiles.
