A "Red" Level Magnetic Storm Engulfed Earth on Monday

IKI RAN predicts a 40% probability of geomagnetic disturbances

A "red" level magnetic storm (K-index 5) is observed on Earth. This phenomenon may affect the well-being of some people, causing headaches and a general deterioration of health. This is reported by the Meteoagent portal, which aggregates satellite data.

On Monday, the storm will reach its peak at 5 points. However, its level will weaken to "yellow" tomorrow, and then drop to normal values.

Magnetic storms can cause discomfort in people sensitive to changes in the magnetic field, so it is recommended to avoid overexertion and pay attention to your condition today.

The forecast of magnetic storms for March 2025 will be updated as data is received from satellites and laboratories around the world, notes the Meteoagent portal.

In turn, IKI RAN predicts that in the next 24 hours the probability of a calm magnetosphere is 29%, the probability of geomagnetic disturbances is 40%, and the probability of magnetic storms is 31%. The Earth's magnetosphere is now calm (Kp = 2.67), and it is expected to remain calm in the near future (Kp = 3.67).
