The corvettes "Rezky", "Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov" (Project 20380) and the medium sea tanker "Pechenga" of the Pacific Fleet arrived in the Pakistani port of Karachi. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
A detachment of Pacific Fleet ships made a business call at the port.
A solemn ceremony of meeting Russian sailors with the participation of the command of the Pakistan Navy took place at the pier. A number of official meetings are planned during the ships' stay.
Earlier, "Rezky", "Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov" and the medium sea tanker "Pechenga", together with the ships of the Iranian Army Navy and the Navy of the People's Liberation Army of China, as part of the "Maritime Security Belt - 2025" exercises, practiced firing at sea targets. The maneuvers took place off the coast of Iran.
