The crew of the small missile ship (MRK) "Zeleny Dol" of Project 21631 "Buyan-M" conducted a ship exercise on the use of "Caliber-NK" missile systems against ships of a mock enemy in the Baltic Sea. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
According to the exercise scenario, ship crews detected and classified mock targets at sea as "enemy" ships heading towards the coast of the Kaliningrad region. The ship's commander received an order to approach the mock enemy to force it to change course.
During the approach, the "enemy" conditionally attacked the MRK with missile weapons, which were repelled by air defense crews using "Pantsir-M" complexes and the AK-630M-2 "Duet" artillery system.
Then, "Zeleny Dol" conditionally destroyed enemy ships with electronic launches of high-precision "Caliber-NK" missile systems.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russia will sell India engines for T-72 tanks for $248 million.
