The authors of the well-known portal Drom.ru acquired a new domestic model, the Lada Aura, for their car park. Initial tests revealed that the business sedan's shortcomings are already apparent at two thousand kilometers.
Firstly, auto experts noted that the Lada Aura exhibits creases on the leather upholstery of the driver's seat and the plastic scratches easily. Secondly, a "Check Lighting" message appeared on the dashboard, and the green indicator for the low beam headlights unexpectedly flickered. The signal later disappeared, likely a random glitch.
The journalists also expressed concerns about the occasionally occurring ticking of the adsorber valve and the noisy engine operation, reminiscent of a marine diesel. At the same time, the manufacturers claimed to have improved the factory sound insulation of the Aura compared to the Lada Vesta.
Furthermore, experts noticed that the car's tires rub against the car's body—the spar—on sharp turns. Scheduling an appointment with the dealer proved difficult. The service queue is two weeks or more.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that AvtoVAZ announced a discount of 300 thousand rubles on the new Lada Aura under one condition.
