Russians may face the seizure of electric scooters if they have debts exceeding three thousand rubles. This was reported by the press service of the Moscow Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service (FSSP), emphasizing that any debts exceeding the specified amount may be grounds for the seizure of property.
Electric scooters and other personal mobility devices are considered property, which allows bailiffs to seize them. Thus, if there are debts for alimony, fines, or other property recoveries, bailiffs have the right to seize such vehicles.
The agency emphasized that this measure applies not only to individuals but also to legal entities. Debts can arise for various reasons, including fines and moral damages. Therefore, electric scooter owners should be attentive to their financial obligations to avoid unpleasant consequences.
