Landing boats of the Baltic Fleet on an air cavity "Denis Davydov" and "Lieutenant Rimsky-Korsakov" of project 21820 "Dugong", as well as D-325 of project 1176 "Akula", practiced landing a marine landing on an unequipped sea coast in the Kaliningrad region during exercises.

During the voyage, the landing boats maneuvered at a speed of about 60 km/h, practicing various approaches to the shore. Six BTR-82A armored personnel carriers with personnel from the marine assault unit of the fleet were delivered to land, who practiced capturing a bridgehead on the sea coast.

High-speed landing boats of project 21820 "Denis Davydov", "Lieutenant Rimsky-Korsakov" and D-325 are designed for high-speed transfer by sea and landing on an unequipped coast of manpower, wheeled and tracked vehicles.

The maximum speed of the boats at a wave height of 0.75 m is 35 knots, the maximum cruising range is 500 nautical miles, and the carrying capacity is 140 tons.
