The first body armor from «Yarl» company has successfully passed the scheduled tests and updated the certification. Protective equipment meets safety standards, its quality is confirmed in real conditions.
Samples of body armor are sent to the laboratory for quality assessment. During the study, specialists check the following indicators:
- material strength
- depth of penetration of cold weapons
- anti-fragmentation resistance
- protection against cold and firearms
- class of protective structure
In addition, they compare the declared characteristics in terms of weight and dimensions with the actual ones. The research result is entered into the test report.
Based on this document, a mandatory certificate of compliance is issued. Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 2425 regulates the procedure for certification of body armor in the national system before it enters the market.
