The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has shown footage of the combat operations of the crew of the 2A65 Msta-B artillery gun. The complex is capable of hitting any targets at a distance of up to 30 km.
The servicemen of the crew used high-explosive fragmentation and high-precision ammunition. This made it possible to inflict maximum damage to concrete fortifications, fortifications, armored vehicles and enemy manpower at a distance of up to 30 km.
The weight of the towed 152-mm howitzer Msta-B is 7 tons, the crew is 8 people. The standard Ural-4320 tractor is used to move the howitzer - a truck with a 6x6 wheel arrangement and increased cross-country ability.
Msta-B is capable of firing 7–8 rounds per minute. The ammunition load of the installation is 60 rounds, the mass of each is about 44 kg. The firing range with conventional high-explosive fragmentation shells is up to 24.7 km, and with bottom gas generator shells - up to 30 km.
