Footage of the night combat work of the crew of the Ka-52M Alligator reconnaissance and attack helicopter has been published online. The military launched the Tula-guided missile "Whirlwind-1".
The ammunition was aimed at the target using the GOES-451M optoelectronic complex. As a result of a precise hit, the "Whirlwind-1" is capable of penetrating about 750 - 800 mm of armor behind dynamic protection.
Technical characteristics of the "Whirlwind-1" missile:
- Missile speed - up to 610 m/s
- Guided missile carrier - Ka-52 helicopter
