From the creators of the Abrams killer: Russian fighters received a new "Owl" kamikaze drone

UAV surpasses competitors but is half the price

The developers of the Piranha-10 FPV drone, which once destroyed the first Abrams, have created a new reconnaissance UAV - the Owl-13. The drone will give Russian troops the ability to conduct reconnaissance for more than 1.5 hours with high-quality video, the ability to hold position and hover.

The developers noted that the UAV operates on both standard 5.8 GHz frequencies and special unique frequencies. This allows the operator to maintain control in difficult conditions and minimizes the risk of suppressing communications by electronic warfare equipment.

The digital video signal is converted to analog, and it is this signal that is transmitted to the operator's glasses. And this signal can no longer be jammed. It's like comparing digital television and analog: in digital, if one data packet is lost, the picture immediately goes black, and analog, even if it is jammed, the TV, although with interference, will show something.

Additionally, a thermal imager, two cameras at once, and rotary modules can be installed on the Owl, which will expand the device's capabilities in monitoring and reconnaissance. The drone can also act as a repeater.

The Owl-13 is an alternative to foreign drones that are now used as reconnaissance drones. The new development surpasses them in its technical characteristics and costs almost half as much.

Earlierwww1.ru reported thata fiber-optic kamikaze drone with an increased range is being developed in Russia.
