The flights took place at night. During the development of landings and takeoffs from the board, the helicopter crew achieves high skill and the ability to competently analyze information received from the transport devices of the helicopter and the ship.
Large anti-submarine ships of Project 1155 are the basis of the anti-submarine forces of the Russian Navy. They are designed to operate in distant sea and ocean zones, both as part of combat groups and in single voyages.
The armament of the ships of the project includes eight vertical launch installations of the Kinzhal air defense system, two 100-mm artillery installations, two 12-barrel RBU-6000 rocket launchers and two 533-mm four-tube torpedo tubes.
